Only 53 to go Joseph. The only difference between these and the BQ you threw together is that these questions are validated.

IF YOU THINK YOU ‘FAILED’ THE INVALID BQ AND RECEIVED A "X"

*THINK AGAIN…FURTHER HIJINKS FROM THE FAA….

FAA PUBLICALLY DECLARES THE INVALID BQ A SUCCESS AND STATES: 5,000 “PASSED” THE RECENT BQ WITH THE GREEN CHECKMARK….

*IN ACTUALITY FAA CONTACTS REPORT- OVER 11,000 ACTUALLY PASSED THE BQ

The FAA Panicked Because Of The Pass Rate SO They Arbitrarily Set The “Pass” Score Higher- after the test was taken.

No grade issued immediately to test takers. Why? So FAA HR Personnel could select the applicants they “preferred.”

FAA HUMAN RESOURCES PERSONNEL WITHOUT ANY REQUIRED TRAINING ON SCORING PSYCHOMETRIC TESTS ARBITRARILY SELECTING APPLICANTS.

AND THE FAA’S (DESPERATE AFTER THE FACT ATTEMPTS TO VALIDATE THE BQ) GO ON…

AND ON…

AND ON…

Sole source to APT Metrics (aka Applied Psychological Techniques, Inc.) – the people hired by Joseph Teixeira to “create and validate” the Biographical Questionnaire paid $1,820,000 in taxpayer dollars (as CAMI was bypassed) contracts under DTFAWA-13-C-00002 with proposed mod of up to $1.5M for new test when many multiple qualified bidders available

The FAA’s Own Civil Aeronautical Medical Institute (CAMI) – designer of tests for pilots, controllers, etc. for decades was left out of the mix- regarding the BQ. Why pay tax dollars for something the FAA has expertise in? Likely because CAMI’s October 2014 Report says the BQ needs several more in-depth studies before bvalidation. although the FAA is falsely stating that CAMI designed the BQ…..

FAA CAMI and ctistudents.com inside sources say:

  1. The first BQ was not validated using any acceptable protocol.
  2. The first BQ was not proctored in any fashion and the FAA had/has absolutely no way to verify who took the test.
  3. CAMI was not even sure if APTMetrics had the capabilities to design/validate the BQ.
  4. CAMI employees are fearful of FAA retaliation regarding the truth behind the scam.

NATCA Jumps to the Defense of the FAA – completely going against all their prior support of CTI graduates AND current NATCA CTI members….

WHY?

The second BQ was allegedly “validated” by actual certified professional controllers after NATCA plead with them to help APTMetrics, Joe Teixeira and David Boone out. Only a few hundred had signed up prior to pleas by Dave Boone buddy (and NATCA VP) Patricia “Trish” Gilbert. Keep in mind the controller ATSAP program was designed in cahoots with Boone, Teixeira, and NATCA sellouts Rinaldi and Gilbert.

FAA CAMI and ctistudents.com inside sources say:

CAMI sources say the method used to try and validate the second BQ was also not valid. Why? APTMetrics- as a scoring component of the BQ – allowed FAA supervisors, without any training in psychological testing and evaluation to subjectively rate the controllers. Yes, hundreds of supervisors without any training in such things rated controllers based upon their “opinions” of the controller. Why would NATCA ever facilitate this? Controller immunity regardless of how bad performance is or how often it occurs.  This is called BIAS. Refresher for APT hacks (including you): bias refers to systematic error in the estimation of a value. A biased test is one that systematically overestimates or underestimates the value of the variable it is intended to assess.

PILOTS TAKE NOTE- while FAA inspectors clamp down on you for even the slightest error- regardless of safety- the FAA has a completely different standard for controllers. All engineered by Dave Boone and Joe Teixeira to buy off NATCA. What’s the difference? No matter how many errors a controller has or how unsafe they are: controllers have total immunity and cannot even be trained.  Ask the FAA for a SINGLE case nationwide where retraining has occurred…

(insert cricket sounds here)

CONFIDENTIAL NOTE TO JOE, DAVE AND NATCA SELLOUTS ONLY (ALL OTHERS PLEASE TURN AWAY). You think exposing the fraud in the hiring of future controllers for commercial gain is bad? When the public finds out that the FAA has been hiding the controller error rate, under the guise of data collection and system improvements (where’s all that statistical data analysis you lied about Teixeira? While you were illegally failing to release FOIA requests as you stalled to get a regulation in place to provide confidentiality? Pony up a report and save your corrupt ass- we have the emails Joe- lots of good hardworking people in the FAA are disgusted by your actions), and preventing FAA management from training controllers who are repeatedly causing near disasters- We think you are going to have a slight problem…

NATCA members who are CTI graduates/NATCA members who have CTI student family members /NATCA members with a conscience: maybe you should think about withdrawing from the union so Trish, Paul and the lot, don’t have the extra funds (union dues) to travel with Dave and Joe to the next hayride on your dime.

BQ UPDATE:

THE FAA'S DESIGNATED "BEST QUALIFIED CANDIDATES" ARE FAILING TO PASS BASIC SECURITY, BACKGROUND AND DRUG TESTS AT AN ALARMING RATE.

RECENT FAA ACADEMY CLASS HAD 67% DROP OUT RATE BEFORE CLASS EVEN STARTED FOR FAILURE TO PASS DRUG, BACKGROUND OR SECURITY TESTS.

New hire program “success” statistics:

1) Over 28,000 take BQ.  2) Only 2,200 “PASS”  BQ.  3) ONLY 1,660 TAKE ATSAT (even though the FAA dropped the passing grade to below 20%). The FAA publically states all that took the  AT-SAT passed (statistically impossible lie- if the passing grade is above 20%) 4) Recent background, drug and security failure rate  of 67% in one sample class cuts rate further.

The FAA eliminated over 3,500 graduates and veterans with proven skills and experience for this failed social experiment.

The remaining people will attend the rigorous FAA academy where they WILL PASS if they give a good effort to learn the material (new FAA standard promulgated by ATO under Bristol and Teixeira)  then they will be shuffled off to field facilities, despite any in-depth aviation knowledge, for real training.

THANK YOU TO OUR FAA WHISTLEBLOWERS. CONGRESS AND THE PUBLIC NEED TO KNOW THE COST AND EFFECTS OF ELIMINATING VETERAN AND CTI GRADUATES.

Bio Questions Scrubbed After Complaints....

Despite research showing that a certain number of questions are required to validate bio question results- the new process has 62 questions as ones failing racial/gender neutrality are pulled by the FAA.

BREAKING…

ATSAT “PASSING SCORE” DROPPED DRASTICALLY FROM PRIOR YEARS IN ORDER TO MAKE BIO ANALYSIS  (BA) TEST LOOK ACCEPTABLE

APPLICANTS NOT TOLD  ATSAT GRADES - FAA WANTS NEARLY ALL “PASSING" BA TO "PASS" ATSAT SO THE TEST DOESN’T SHOW FLAWS!!!

FAA DESPERATELY TRIES TO VALIDATE TEST WILL NOT SAY PASSING SCORE…FAA SOURCES SAY “PASSING” SCORE ON ATSAT NOW BELOW 20% TESTING SCANDAL FURTHER DEVELOPING….

28,000 individuals applied and...

2,200 ATSAT exams will being given.

At an approximate cost of  $900.00 to administer each AT-SAT test, there's another cool  $2 million squandered by the FAA. They had over 3,000 qualified applicants on the CTI referral list but the FAA AHR-1 decided to purge these high-quality candidates to satisfy the demands of her confederates in the NBCFAE.

THOUSANDS  OF CTI GRADUATES WITH SIGNIFICANT AVIATION EXPERIENCE "NOT QUALIFIED." BIOGRAPHICAL questions discriminate against CTI graduates and aviation students....

Thank you for submitting your application for announcementFAA-AMC-14-ALLSRCE-33537. Based upon your responses to the Biographical Assessment, we have determined that you are NOT eligible for this position as a part of the current vacancy announcement.

The biographical assessment measures ATCS job applicant characteristics that have been shown empirically to predict success as an air traffic controller in the FAA. These characteristics include factors such as prior general and ATC-specific work experience, education and training, work habits, academic and other achievements, and life experiences among other factors. This biographical assessment was independently validated by outside experts.

Many candidates applied for this position and unfortunately we have fewer job openings than there were candidates. We encourage you to apply to future vacancy announcements. Thank you again for your interest in the Federal Aviation Administration.

If you would like further information, please make your request in writing to

NEWSFLASH …

Current FAA controllers at high level facilities across the country took the Biographical Analysis test... AND FAILED......

Deemed "Not Qualified" they go back to work at the busiest air traffic facilities nationwide.

Developing story....

THE NUMBERS ARE IN:

Veteran CTI students “fail” BA- even those that were former military controllers;

CTI students who were also Pilots “fail” BA- even those with commercial ratings;

CTI graduates who passed the ATSAT with 100% scores “fail” the  BA;

CTI minority students, females, hispanic, black "fail" BA.

ACTUAL FAA CONTROLLERS WORKING AT THE BUSIEST FACILITIES IN THE NATION FAIL THE BA- THEN GO BACK TO WORK.

FAA refuses to publish data on BA validation. Circling the wagons trying to find ways to "answer" Congress. Military, Aviation and CTI experience actually harmed test takers.

Working behind the scenes to “validate” after the fact. Contractors scrambling for answers.

Breaking Story- FAA insider- FAA HR released the “right” BA answers prior to the test to NBCFAE officer Shelton Snow….

Huerta, PJ, Dana, John, Carolynn, Rickie, Mamie... would you please explain to Congress how EXCLUDING THE FOLKS ABOVE AND BELOW in favor of an 18 year old with no experience creates a "better" workforce?

Who'd like to go first? Rickie Cannon - why not start the "robust" discussion with Congress? Tell them that your idea to allow high school dropouts an opportunity to bid on controller jobs would add "diversity and depth" to the source pool. The questions will start as soon as the laughter dies down.

AND ANOTHER

HEY JOE, BIG DIRTY DAVE, HUERTA….

Hey guys, I feel the discrimination pain of the Veteran CTI student whose story you posted today as well. I know this is a site geared toward the CTI demographic, but to piggy-back on the Veteran issue, I've applied to the FAA for RMC bids since '09 and have been turned-down each and every time, and I know it's not because of my resume. I have two CTO's, 6 radar (including CERAP) facility certifications (which include stupid busy fighter bases and places where Part 91, 121 & 135 ops were 90% of the traffic) both domestically and internationally, along with two combat deployments (not counting "contingency" deployments). I've been a certificated pilot since '01, have 500+ hours of PIC time, hold an FAA Class II with no restrictions, was a lead rep for the FAAST (FAA Safety Team), have an AAS in ATC, a BS from Embry-Riddle in Professional Aeronautics, a Master's Degree in Commercial Aviation, and am a disabled Vet with 10 points preference. Oh, I'm also an Assistant Professor of ATC at a CTI college. Thought you might like to know my little discrimination story.

CARLOS OUR SITE IS GEARED TOWARD ALL THAT HAVE BEEN DISCRMINATED AGAINST INCLUDING AND ESPECIALLY OUR VETERANS- THANK YOU SIR FOR YOUR SERVICE.

Another person honorably serves our country and you ignore their service…

People outside the “beltway” - real Americans- are sickened by your actions. The scam is over- the good people who work in the FAA and know the criminal acts you’ve committed will not forget.

ANOTHER VETERAN-CTI GRADUATE WITH AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL EXPERIENCE- PASSED OVER DUE TO “VALIDATED BA.” FAA REP SAYS ITS BECAUSE THE BA DETERMINES "BETTER QUALIFIED CANDIDATES."

THIS YOUNG MAN IS AMONG MANY VETERANS OF ALL RACES/GENDERS THAT HONORABLY SERVED THEIR COUNTRY AND HAVE BEEN INTENTIONALLY DISCRIMINATED AGAINST BY YOU FOR COMMERCIAL PURPOSES AND GAIN.

The decision was made to “add diversity to the workforce.”

By Steve Scauzillo, San Gabriel Valley Tribune (partial article).

Veteran Chris Schneider worked as an air traffic controller in the Air Force. He went back to school and earned a degree in aviation science from Mt. San Antonio College, carrying a 3.48 GPA. He passed the government’s aptitude exam(ATSAT).

But even though he can guide an F-16 onto a dusty landing strip, he is not a good candidate for air traffic controller and his application was rejected, according to the Federal Aviation Administration and his teachers.

He will have to re-apply in 2015, they said.

Schneider is one of thousands of college students in the U.S. spending hours staring into airplane-control simulators who are being turned away from jobs as air traffic controllers because they can’t pass a biographical questionnaire.

The new 62-question test was added as a screening device in January “in order to recruit a better qualified candidate,” said FAA spokesman Ian Gregor in a written statement. But aeronautics professors and one U.S. senator say the new FAA screening method is unfair to students studying under the old rules. It could lead to dangerous conditions for the nation’s air travelers if less-qualified men and women receive preference over college-trained applicants, they say.

“Under this new system, it is not very far off when we will have controllers who know less and less about the system,” said Steve Shackelford, a professor at Mt. SAC, the largest community college in the state, and a former air traffic controller.

BIODATA VALIDITY???

1. Pinnochijoe Asserts:

"The biographical questionnaire was designed through CAMI, and researched as well thoroughly researched through CAMI, and we've done some additional research with it as well, so it is proven to be a valid instrument for assessing experience, work habits, education, and so on, and dimensions that are related to the success on the job."

2. PJ's New Boss (Teri Bristol) in Sham PR Article states:

What is the bio-data assessment?

"The bio-data assessment was designed incooperation with the FAA Civil Aerospace Medical Institute (CAMI) and its determinations are backed by a body of Human Factors research. This test has been proven to be a valid instrument for assessing experience, work habits, education and dimensions that are related to success on the job. The bio-data assessment is administered prior to the AT-SAT test. If you qualify following the bio-data assessment, you will be referred to take the AT-SAT test."

I didn't pass the biographical assessment. Is there a mistake in either the test or scoring of the data?

"The biographical assessment was thoroughly checked and tested for accuracy in scoring by a team of quality control testers prior to implementation."

3. ACTUAL RESEARCH KNOWN TO THE FAA IN 2013 BEFORE CTI HIJACKING CONTRADICTS PJ AND BRISTOLS FALSE STATEMENTS:

SO…. The FAA Knows that the evidence for using the assessed biodata factors for air traffic controller selection was weak and their own researchers suggest that a new biodata instrument be developed to assess and identify experiences to predict performance of the next generation of controllers. This presentation occurred in September 2013 and was reported in the FAA Human Factor Newsletter in November 2013. Of course- by this time the Juggalos were using the NBCFAE to hijack the CTI program….

The FAA continues to falsely portray the Biographical Analysis (formerly the Biographical Questionnaire) and say it was backed by a series of “human factors research” yet refuses to publish the data. Reliable sources state that "research" is NOW being developed to cover the FAA’s blatant false representation. Developing….

About...

We are students and veterans who believe those who serve in the military or graduate the CTI Program are better prepared to enter the air traffic control specialist career path. CTI  and veteran students of all races and genders perform better and certify at a much higher rate than off-the-street candidates. The FAA is well aware of this fact, yet due to alleged discrimination, that their own studies disprove, the FAA has effectively eliminated the CTI/ Veteran special hiring pool.

PLEASE TAKE NOTE: we are NOT affiliated in any way with the CTI school association or the CTI connection groups.

We are an independent source advocating for current CTI students, VRAs (Veterans) and former CTI graduates as well as exposing alleged corruption by FAA employees.

If our website is too harsh for you we kindly ask that you go elsewhere so you are not offended.  If you are interested in the actual story behind FAA managers who have abused the public trust- welcome.

Please see the tipline on the menu at the top in order to blow the whistle on FAA corruption. To date hundreds of employees have sent in information and tips regarding fraud, waste and abuse.
